ICEFA 2020 Prize Awards – Hong Kong

On November 12, 2020, young artists who succeeded in the 48th International Children's Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice 2020 received their awards from the hands of Jan Juchelka, Consul General of the Czech Republic in Hong Kong. With regard to the current epidemiological situation, only children who were awarded medals attended the ceremony in person this year. Honorable mentions were sent to art schools which will give them to the authors of the winning works.
Children from Hong Kong usually participate in the exhibition with many beautiful artworks and this year was no exception, the jury appreciated a high number of works. The medals “Rose of Lidice” were awarded to seven young authors and nineteen others were acknowledged with the Honourable Mention. The vast majority of medals were awarded for paintings, namely to Victoria Kiu Wai Choi from Alliance Primary School, Yee Ching Lee from Kids Palette Creative Art Workshop and from Simply Art School to Kin Gi Lau, You Gi Lau, Annika Li and Kai Yee Celeste Wong. A medal for charcoal drawing went to Hei Yuen Rachel Au from Simply Art.
Congratulations to the winners and many thanks to everyone who participated! We will be looking forward to artworks sent to the next edition - with the theme "Robot and artificial intelligence".
