Invitation to Participate in the 55th ICEFA Lidice 2027

Dear Children, dear Teachers,
We cordially invite you to participate in the 55th International Children's Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice 2027.
The competition and accompanying exhibition are among the largest of their kind in the world, bringing together thousands of children from across the globe every year. The United Nations General Assembly has declared 2027 the International Year of Sustainable and Resilient Tourism. It reminds us that travelling and discovering the world can help build understanding among people, protect nature and cultural heritage, and contribute to a better future for everyone.
The 55TH ICEFA Lidice will be dedicated to the theme:
Holidays
Holidays are a time of joy, adventure, relaxation, and the discovery of new places, people, and experiences. For some, they mean a trip to the seaside; for others, a summer camp, a nature excursion, visiting grandparents, or simply ordinary summer days filled with games and imagination.
The theme encourages reflection on how we spend our free time and explore the world around us. What do holidays, adventure, or relaxation mean to you? Which places bring you joy, peace, or inspiration?
We look forward to receiving artworks full of colour, imagination, emotions, and personal stories — holidays that are real or dreamt of, near or far.

IMPORTANT: All artworks must physically arrive in Lidice by this date.

Dear friends, supporters of children’s art, and dear children,
we would like to introduce our Facebook profile dedicated exclusively to the International Children’s Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice (ICEFA Lidice), one of the largest and oldest exhibitions of its kind in the world.
ICEFA Lidice commemorates an immensely tragic chapter in our history while at the same time celebrating life and hope, captured over the course of its nearly sixty-year history in hundreds of thousands of artworks created by children from all corners of the world.
Our aim is not only to raise awareness of this unique project and keep you informed about what is happening at the Lidice Gallery, but also to bring joy, inspiration and positive energy to our often challenging everyday lives through children’s art.

Results of the 54th edition of ICEFA Lidice

Dear Teachers, Dear Young Artists,
We have published the results of the 54th International Children’s Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice 2026! This year’s edition, on the theme “BOOK”, received a total of 12,392 entries from 70 countries. After careful selection, the jury awarded 998 exhibits and granted 1,035 awards, including 148 medals.
We warmly congratulate all the awardees and thank everyone for their participation!
The ceremonial opening and presentation of the individual “Lidice Rose” medals to children from the Czech Republic, along with the Jury Awards, will take place on Thursday, May 28, 2026.
We kindly ask participants, parents, and teachers to check the provided information. In case of any discrepancies, please contact us as soon as possible via email at children@lidice-memorial.cz

Shipments for the 54th edition on the theme of Book

Dear young artists, parents and teachers,
We are very pleased that the theme of BOOK has appealed to so many children.
Please do not send us questions about the delivery of a specific shipment. We are literally overwhelmed with packages and are working diligently on their registration. Registration will take place throughout February until the first round of the expert jury, which will take place from March 5 to 7, 2026. Please be patient with us.
In the meantime, you can guess whether we will surpass last year's number of delivered artworks - there were 12,723.
