Four-year-old winner from Hong Kong at Lidice!

On Friday the 21st May 2010 the first certificate and medal were handed over to one of the youngest participants of the 38th International Children’s Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice 2010, Kin Di Lau from the school Simply Art in Hong Kong. It was not by chance that the young Chinese artist was in Europe and in Prague – he travelled with his parents and other pupils of the abovementioned school to Macedonia, to the town of Bitola, where he was awarded a prize in the Small Montmartre of Bitola, an annual exhibition of children’s drawings accompanied with workshops in streets of Bitola. The visit to Lidice was a great experience for the young artist and his schoolmates as well. Having been welcomed in the Lidice Gallery, which was being filled with the winning entries, Kin Di Lau was awarded the “Rose of Lidice” certificate and medal by Ivona Kasalická, curator of the exhibition. Also a photograph was taken of the young artist and his proud parents in front of the winning picture.
