ICEFA 2010 prize awards - Norway, Oslo

The 38th Children’s Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice was participated in by 18 ten-year-old children from the primary school Voksen skole in Oslo, with two of them, Marte Heggertveit and Mikkel Meltvedt Lysegge, winning prizes.
The Embassy in Oslo invited all children and their teachers to the certificate award ceremony taking place on Thursday, 18 November. Czech students reading music in Oslo, Jakub Uhlík (piano) and Felix Slovacek (clarinet), played some music for the children. All pictures by the children were on display in the ceremonial room of the Embassy. Thanking the children for their participation in the competition, the consul acquainted them with the history of Lidice, presented the winners with the certificates and some gifts and invited the school to participate in the following edition of the competition. Then relaxed conversations followed with children and their teachers at a modest banquet. The event took place in a very enjoyable atmosphere, leaving the children with nice memories.
