ICEFA 2010 prize awards - Moldova, Chisinau

On 9 November 2010 the Embassy saw Moldovan children receiving the certificates awarded to them in the 38th ICEFA Lidice.
Certificates and gifts were handed over to Alexandra Bykova from A. V. Şciusev Artistic Lyceum and Nicoleta Botezatu from Lyceum Ginta Latină. The girls came accompanied by their teachers and parents.
According to the teachers, the Lidice competition has only recently been brought into the attention of art schools. Lyceum Ginta Latină promised their participation in the next edition, aspiring for the highest award, the so-called “Rose of Lidice”.
Materials concerning the next edition were handed over to the child-winners and their schools as well as to the Moldavian Ministry of Education that passed them on to the art schools.
